MDA is the largest full service training and diving support business in the western pacific and was conceived by  in 1982 by Pete and Linda Peterson.  They sold most of the business in 2007 after harassing their employees for 25 years, and now are smiling an awful lot. 

Over the years MDA has grown to a multi faceted operation with separate divisions for retail, wholesale, tour support operations, boat operations, video production, and a very active travel section.

Throughout all of this growth, our main focus was, and will always be the local Guam and Micronesian market.  When we say we are very active, we are NOT exaggerating!  Check out our travel special pages and you'll see what we mean.

Where are we located: We are located in the middle of Guam on the western side, and our main complex is located directly across the street from the Fisheye Marine Park in Piti. To see our exact location click here. We also have two stores on the U.S. Naval Station. MDA is the Scubapro/Uwatec distributor for Micronesia, Palau and the Northern Martianas and also represents many other fine companies.

Why do we have a cat on our home page? We have always been a haven for left over and stray animals, and our original cat, (Scuzball and a few other names) made MDA his home for 8 years. and wne to cat heaven on May 11, 2004.  In his honor we adopted two other cats, Nemo and Gill.
